Transfer or claim a Page

Transfer

The owner offers the Page to another member by @handle or email from Manage. The offer is open for seven days. Once accepted, the new owner holds the Page, the previous owner stays admin and can take it back within fourteen days — unless the Page has since been handed on again.

Claim

If someone created a Page for your band, venue or organization, open it and use Claim this Page. Tell the team briefly why it is yours. An approved claim moves ownership to you; the previous owner stays admin. You hear back by notification either way.

What happens if the owner leaves

When an owner deactivates their account, the next admin becomes owner. Without an admin the Page is frozen for thirty days and then removed.
