Artist Open Call - The Human Body as a Vessel

Open call for artists to explore the physical manifestation of the human body as a vessel. We're seeking interpretations of the structures that hold us together, protect us and allow us to move through life: bones and muscles, skin, hair, teeth and nails, tendons, joints, cartilage and connective tissue, scars, wrinkles, fingerprints and all the little details that make a body distinctly ours.

Show us the body as architecture, landscape, machine, material, ecosystem or something entirely unexpected. What is keeping us alive, what is helping us move through space and what processes are happening on the micro to macro scale of human life?

Artists may explore microscopic structures beneath the skin, the strange engineering of the skeleton, beauty standards, body image, physical difference or the cultural meanings we attach to flesh.
