CASTING CALL - Feature Film 'All There Is'
LOGLINE:
After a UFO hovers over their house, a couple who stopped recognizing each other years ago start to wonder if the people who came back are even them.
SYNOPSIS:
Talia and Evan's marriage has been quietly falling apart for years. Then a massive light appears above their house. The next morning, Talia becomes convinced they were abducted. The more they dig, the less sure they are of who came back, or who they were to begin with.

ROLE 1: TALIA (Female 30-45 - All Ethnicities)
Talia is a former museum curator who gave up her career for her husband and now sells handmade terrariums from the garage. She's a meticulous perfectionist who has been quietly unhappy for a long time and is carrying on a flirtation with her husband's best friend. Convinced they were abducted, she's the one who investigates and won't let it go. She moves from suspicion to terror to a cold resolve that ends in violence. Sharp, dry and funny, with real grief underneath.
Must be comfortable with: an intimate scene and shower scenes (no nudity), simulated self-harm (cutting her palm), and a violent stabbing and killing. Big physical and emotional range: a formal ballroom dance that breaks into twerking, a water gun fight, and a silent full-body scream.
ROLE 2: EVAN (Male 30-45 - All Ethnicities)
Evan is a once-successful novelist whose first book paid for the house. He's been blocked for three years and hides from it with his vape, his guitar and an AI assistant. Charming, lazy and sarcastic, and jealous of his best friend. Then he gets hit with a manic creative high that leaves him unrecognizable. Once he learns the truth about their world, he has to decide whether to rewrite his wife and himself. Needs to be funny and physical (dance comedy, water gun fight, digging a hole) but carry a wounded, needy heart.
Must be comfortable with: an intimate scene (no nudity), getting hit with a golf club (stunt), being zip-tied, and an on-screen throat-cut death as Other Evan.
