Live Band Musicians for SarahKay Headline Performance
SarahKay is putting together a live band for her one-night headline debut performance at The Sultan Room in Brooklyn. It will be a multi-genre show built as a series of medleys.
We need players who can hold a seamless transition and switch styles between sections. Women musicians are strongly encouraged to apply.
Open positions: Bass, Guitar, Keys, Drums
To apply, send:
- A YouTube link of you playing two songs from this list: Last Resort (Papa Roach), Bring Me to Life (Evanescence), In the End (Linkin Park), Still Love You (SarahKay), Creep (Radiohead), You Want a Sign (SarahKay) back to back, transposed into the same key, with a clean transition between them without edits or cuts at the transition. Unlisted is fine.
- Guitarists only: a second YouTube link of you playing a solo.
- Your name, instrument, and a short note about your live experience.
What we're looking for:
- Solid across rock, pop, and R&B, and able to switch styles between medleys
- Comfortable transposing and learning by ear
- Reliable, prepared, and available for 1 rehearsal in late Nov/early Dec
