Creative Producer & Photographer (w/m/d)
As Creative Producer & Photographer (w/m/d) at Kess Berlin, you will be responsible for planning and executing photo and video productions – from regular in-house and e-commerce shoots to larger campaign productions. You will translate creative concepts, product positioning, and business objectives into effective production plans, ensuring that content supports product launches, provides customer guidance, and supplies marketing channels including performance marketing, CRM, e-commerce, retail, and others with the necessary assets to achieve their goals.
You will serve as a sparring partner to the Creative Team Lead, contributing to the development of campaign and content concepts and helping translate creative ideas into convincing, realistic, and channel-appropriate productions. You will also take on the role of photographer for regular e-commerce shoots and selected campaign and content productions.
Key responsibilities include: production planning and management from conception to final asset delivery; content production translating creative concepts into channel-specific content; creative conception as a sparring partner in the conceptual phase; production coordination of models, agencies, freelancers, service providers, locations, and equipment; casting and talent selection; independent photography execution; post-production and asset management; and management of usage rights and documentation.
Required qualifications: 3-5 years of professional experience in creative production, photography, or content production within an agency or D2C brand, ideally in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors. Experience in independent planning and execution of photo and video productions from briefing to final asset delivery. Professional photography skills and confidence in executing e-commerce shoots and campaign productions. Technical knowledge of cameras, lighting, studio equipment, and post-production workflows (Capture One and Adobe Photoshop preferred). Ability to translate creative concepts into realistic production plans. Experience coordinating model agencies, freelancers, and production teams. Knowledge of talent buyouts, usage rights, and production documentation. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and pragmatic problem-solving abilities. Professional communication skills and fluent English; German language skills advantageous.
