Adding people from a business card, CV, or QR code

Typing a profile by hand is free, but you rarely have to. The Add User Manually dialog, under Add/Download Profiles in your Talent Database at /creative-roster/ has a Fill with AI row with four shortcuts. Each pre-fills the form; you edit everything before saving, and nothing is added until you click Create Profile.

Photo or business card

Drop a photo of a business card, a flyer, or a headshot with contact details. The details are read out of the image and placed in the fields.

CV or résumé PDF

Drop a CV and the name, profession, location, and contact details are extracted from it.

From a website

Paste a portfolio, professional-network profile, or personal website URL and the page is read and summarised into the profile fields.

QR Card Intake

Generate a QR code and show it to the person in front of you. They scan it with their phone camera, take a photo of their business card or headshot, and a draft profile appears in your Talent Database for you to confirm or discard. No app is needed on their side. Each code is single-use and expires after a short time, and you can revoke it from the same dialog.

Cost and review

The AI extraction routes draw on your credit balance, and the cost is shown before you run one. Always check what came back: a card can be misread, and a website can describe someone differently from how they describe themselves. The people you add this way are your profiles, private to you, exactly like a profile you typed.
