Pipeline stages on your roster

Every person on your roster sits at a pipeline stage, so you can see at a glance where a relationship stands rather than reconstructing it from memory.

The default stages

New accounts start with a contract-oriented flow:

1. Shortlisted — on your radar, no contact yet.
2. Contacted — you have reached out.
3. Follow-up — waiting on a reply, or you owe them one.
4. Contract Sent — terms are out.
5. Negotiation — terms are being discussed.
6. Contract Signed — agreed.

Make them yours

These are defaults, not rules. Rename them, reorder them, add stages, or remove ones you do not use. A booking agent might run "Enquiry, Hold, Confirmed, Advanced, Settled"; a festival might run per-edition stages. Your stages, your wording.

Working the pipeline

The pipeline bar filters the roster to one stage, so you can work a single column at a time — everyone in Follow-up, for example — instead of scanning the whole list. Move someone by changing their stage on the profile.

Stages versus statuses elsewhere

Do not confuse roster stages with application statuses. Applications have their own set — In Discussion, Accepted, Rejected — and live in the applications inbox. Roster stages describe the relationship; application statuses describe one specific approach.

Ask Spotty how many people you have at each stage, or who has been sitting in Follow-up longest. It reads your own roster and answers directly.
