As a directing intern, you will support the director and the assistant directing team throughout the preparation and shooting period and gain first-hand insight into the creative and organizational processes of an international film production.
The internship will begin in August 2026, supporting the preparation phase of the production. The shoot will take place in Berlin from 14–30 September 2026.
Main working language is English.
Tasks include:
- supporting the director and assistant director during preparation and filming
- assisting with script breakdowns, schedules and production documents
- preparing rehearsal and shooting materials
- coordinating communication between departments during production
- supporting the organization of rehearsals and filming
- general administrative and production-related assistance as required.
- strong interest in film directing, filmmaking, and interdisciplinary artistic practice
- excellent organizational and communication skills
- ability to work independently and responsibly
- team spirit, reliability, and flexibility
- good command of English.
