Contest: Design the Face of Our Next Campaign

The Pending is looking for illustrators & visual artists

We're launching a postcard campaign going to hand-picked casting teams and agencies across Germany – and this time, it's your art at the center, not our product. The front isn't an ad, it's a standalone piece that sparks curiosity: no logo, no product message.

The Brief

Apply with your existing portfolio – we're not looking for new drafts upfront, we're looking for your voice. Whoever we select, we'll commission directly and paid for the actual artwork, with a short briefing conversation instead of an anonymous competition.

No tight theme. If you're looking for a direction: time, order, and what gets lost in between can be starting points – but don't have to be.

Entry Requirements

• Open to all illustrators and visual artists
• Apply with your existing portfolio – priority goes to a The Pending portfolio (set up in minutes: create a profile, upload one sample project – then apply here via the form below) Claim your free portfolio: https://agency.thepending.com/artists/
• Technical specs for the later artwork: DIN A6 landscape, 105 × 148 mm + 2 mm bleed, 300 dpi, CMYK, PDF or high-res PNG/TIFF, artwork fills the entire surface, (your signature can be included - alternatively we include an "artwork by" on the other side of the postcard)

Timeline

Application deadline September 15 → selection based on portfolios → selected artists get contacted and commissioned.
