Your calendar
The calendar at /calendar/ carries appointments, project dates, and team meetings in one view, so the work and the dates are not in different systems.
What lands there
- Appointments you create.
- Dates attached to your projects.
- Meetings with your team.
- Appointments you schedule with people on your roster — which also appear on their own calendar.
Creating and changing entries
You do this on the calendar page itself. Spotty can read your calendar — ask what is on next week and it will tell you — but calendar access is deliberately read-only for the assistant. Anything that changes a date, you do, so a misread request can never move a real appointment.
Sync
Calendar Sync is a plan-controlled capability for keeping the platform calendar aligned with the calendar you already live in. Check /billing/pricing/ for what your tier includes.
Working with it
- Put project milestones in as you create the project, not afterwards.
- Ask Spotty for the week ahead rather than scrolling.
- When you agree a date in an email, put it on the calendar in the same sitting.
Tasks are separate
Things to do, as opposed to things happening at a time, belong on your Kanban board at /tasks/. The Task Board is also plan-controlled.
