Creating a project

Updated This content is in English — use your browser’s translate feature to read it in your language.

A project is a workspace for one piece of work: a tour, a festival edition, a release, a production, or a campaign. The people involved, the dates, the files, and the conversations all hang off it, so nothing is scattered across inboxes.

Creating one

Go to /projects/ and start a new project. You can also ask Spotty to open the project editor for you.

Three ways to fill it in:

  • By hand — type the details yourself. Free.
  • From a prompt — describe the project in a sentence or two and let AI draft the fields for you to edit.
  • From a URL — point it at an existing page describing the work and let AI read it and draft from that.

The AI routes draw on your credit balance; the cost is shown before you run one. Whatever comes back is a draft — read it and correct it before you save.

What to fill in

  • Title and description — what it is, in the words the people you want would use.
  • Roles — the positions you need filled.
  • Locations and dates — where and when.
  • Application settings — whether people can apply, and what you ask them for.

Opening it to applications

A project can accept applications directly, and a publicly listed project also appears alongside your listings. If you want inbound interest, switch applications on and set up the form. If the project is internal, leave it closed.

Working the project

From the project you invite specific people, add co-admins, attach documents, and keep dates on the calendar. Applications arrive in your inbox tagged to the project.
