Checking your balance and usage
Your balance and full usage history live at /billing/usage/.
What the page shows
- Current balance — how many pens you have available right now.
- Usage history — each AI action that was charged, what it was, and when.
- Refunds — credits that were returned to you, and why.
Use the history when a balance looks lower than you expected. Each entry names the feature that spent the credits, so you can see whether it was Spotty messages, a finder run, or a batch of drafted emails.
Asking Spotty
You can also just ask Spotty "what is my balance?" or "what does a Talent Finder search cost?" It reads the live values rather than guessing, so the numbers it gives you are the ones that will actually be charged.
Before a big run
Finder searches and bulk drafting are the actions most likely to move your balance noticeably. If you are planning a large session, check the balance first so a run does not stop partway. When a balance is too low, the action is refused up front and nothing is charged.
Plan allowance versus top-ups
Your plan comes with an allowance of pens. Compare what each tier includes on /billing/pricing/ for managers or /billing/artist-pricing/ for talent. If you regularly run out before the period ends, moving up a tier is usually cheaper than repeated top-ups.
