Refunds when an AI result misses
AI results are not always right. When one misses, you should not pay for it — so the platform gives credits back rather than making you argue for them.
Spotty answers
Every Spotty reply has thumbs up and thumbs down buttons. Pressing thumbs down refunds the credits charged for that message in full and records the feedback. Thumbs up records that it worked and does not refund anything.
Use thumbs down freely. It is the intended signal for a wrong, unhelpful, or off-target answer, and it is how the assistant gets better.
Finder runs
Talent Finder, Job Finder, and Client Finder refund per run rather than per message, and there are three ways a refund happens:
- No results at all — if a run finishes with zero results, the refund is issued automatically. You do not need to do anything.
- You rate the results poorly — give individual results one star and explain briefly why they missed. A qualifying explanation triggers a refund for the run.
- Several bad results — if you one-star at least two distinct results from the same run, that also triggers the refund, even without a written explanation.
A run can be refunded once. Once the credits for a run have come back, further ratings on that run record feedback but do not refund again.
Where to see it
Refunds appear in your usage history at /billing/usage/ alongside the original charge, so you can confirm the credits actually returned.
Failed runs
If an action cannot start — for example your balance is too low — nothing is charged in the first place, so there is nothing to refund.
