AI application letters and autofill
Writing the same kind of letter repeatedly is the part of applying that wears people down. The AI Dashboard at /artists/agents/ can draft one for you.
What you can start from
- A link to a job or call — the page is read in and used as context.
- Pasted text of the advertisement.
- An image — a screenshot or photo of a call.
- A PDF of the announcement.
- A Job Finder result you already have.
It combines that with your portfolio to produce a letter aimed at the specific brief, and can produce an outreach message to go with it. Letter generation draws on your credit balance; the cost is shown before it runs.
Autofill on platform applications
For opportunities published here, autofill pre-fills the application form from your portfolio instead of writing a letter. Same principle, same rule about reviewing it.
Edit it — always
A generated letter is a first draft. Before it goes anywhere:
- Check every factual claim about you. Generated text can overstate.
- Cut the generic opening and closing lines.
- Add one specific, true thing about why this work interests you. That is usually the only part a manager remembers.
- Read it aloud. If it does not sound like you, rewrite it until it does.
Transparency
AI-drafted text is marked as machine-generated. Managers know AI is available to both sides — what distinguishes an application is the specific, human part you add.
If the draft is useless
Rate it down. The credits come back and the miss is recorded.
