Messages and notifications

Conversations on the platform run through /messaging/, and everything that happens to your account is announced at /notifications/.

Messaging

In-app messaging is how you talk to managers and bookers you are connected with. Conversations stay attached to the platform, so you can find what was agreed later instead of digging through a personal inbox.

Replying quickly matters more than replying at length. In casting and booking, availability windows close fast.

Notifications

You are notified about the things that need you: application status changes, invitations, messages, appointments a manager scheduled with you, and finder runs finishing.

Notifications can reach you in the app, by email, and as push — depending on the event and your settings.

Controlling what you receive

Preferences are in your account settings at /settings/profile/artist/. You can adjust categories separately, so switching off one kind of email does not silence the rest.

Every notification email also carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

What not to switch off

Turning off application and invitation notifications is usually a mistake — those are time-sensitive, and a missed invitation is a missed job. If you get too much email, narrow the categories rather than switching everything off.

Appointments

When a manager schedules something with you, it appears on your calendar at /artists/calendar/ as well as in notifications.
