AI application analysis

Application analysis reads an application against what you asked for and gives you a summary and a fit assessment, so a full inbox becomes something you can triage.

Running it

Open an application from /applications/ and choose Analyze. You can re-run the analysis if the application changes or you want a fresh read. It draws on your credit balance, and the cost is shown before it runs.

You can also ask Spotty to evaluate the applications on a project, and it will propose that as an action card with the cost before doing anything.

What you get

• A summary of what the person actually said.
• An assessment of how they line up with the role, discipline, and requirements.
• Points worth following up on.

You decide, not the AI

This is deliberately advisory. A score must not be the thing that decides about a person, which is why the analysis screen carries a human-oversight notice. Read the application. The analysis is there to tell you where to look first, not to sort people for you.

Treat a low score as "check this one carefully", never as an automatic rejection — and be aware that unusual, non-linear, or self-taught careers are exactly the ones a model reads least well. Those are often the people worth meeting.

What applicants are told

We are transparent that AI is used in the platform. The public notice is at /ai-transparency/. If you send an enhanced receipt email, applicants are told AI was involved in processing.

If the analysis is wrong

Rate it down. That refunds the credits and records the miss.
