What Spotty remembers
Spotty can keep notes so it does not ask the same thing twice, and it can build a personal search index over your own content. Neither happens until you switch it on. Open community Settings at /community/settings/ (or the matching screens in the app).
Remember across conversations
The switch Remember across Spotty conversations is off by default. When it is on, Spotty can create personal memories from new chats and use them later on the community, creative and manager sides. You can also say remember this or ask it to forget. A note Spotty wrote on its own appears once as Spotty noted.
Turning the switch off deletes those memories and search copies. The original conversations stay. Switching it back on starts from new chats, not the old copies.
Review and delete
The same Settings page lists every note: who wrote it (you or Spotty), whether it is pinned, and a Delete button. A note Spotty wrote that is older than 180 days is marked unsure. A memory is never about another member and never visible to anyone else.
Private messages and drafts
A second switch, Include my private messages and drafts in Spotty search, is also off by default and is separate from memory. When it is on, Spotty sends the text of your own private chat messages and unpublished drafts to create a personal search index. Only your account can search those copies. Turning it off removes the copies and stops future indexing; the original messages and drafts stay.
What this is not
Memory is not a shared profile. It is not used to show you to other people. Exporting or deleting your account still covers these copies — see that article if you want everything removed.
