Creating your account

Sign up with an email address and a password, or continue with Google, Apple, or Microsoft. If you signed up through one of those, use the matching Log in with button on the login page afterwards. Everything runs in your browser, and you can write to Spotty in any language.

Before your account goes live

Two short steps happen once:

• Confirm your email with a code. We email you a six-character code. Enter it on the Enter your code page and choose Confirm email. The code is valid for 15 minutes. If it does not arrive, use Send a new code. See the article on signing in with a code for the details.
• Terms and country. You accept the terms and declare the country you are based in. See the article on declaring your country.

As soon as your email is confirmed, your account is active and you are signed in. There is no waiting for a manual review.

Choosing your side

You pick the side that matches how you work:

• Manager — you represent, book, or hire creative talent, or you organise productions, tours, festivals, or campaigns.
• Creative — you are the creative: a musician, band, DJ, performer, photographer, stylist, or any other discipline.

Your side decides which navigation and features you see. If you work in both directions, one account can hold both sides, shown as Creative & Manager. You switch between them from Switch role in the menu under your profile picture. See the article on switching between manager and creative.

Your first ten minutes

If you are on the manager side

New managers start on a short welcome, What brings you here?, which ends on Your Overview. Then:

• Add a few people you already work with to your Talent Database.
• Create a project for something you have running right now.
• Open Spotty and ask it what to do next — it can open the right editor for you.

If you are on the creative side

• Fill in your portfolio in the Studio: bio, profession, experience level, and work samples. You can import a CV to get started.
• Browse opportunities to see what is live.
• Open your Dashboard, build your Job Finder search profile, and add the bookers, venues, and clients you already have to your Pocket CRM.

Onboarding help

The first time you open Spotty it acts as an onboarding guide and walks you through setup step by step, offering to open the right screen at each point. You can stop and restart that conversation whenever you like.

Signup is not available in a small number of countries for legal compliance reasons. If signup is blocked for your region, you see a message explaining that at registration.
